TERMS OF SERVICE

These Terms of Service apply to the use of the LFP Foodservice website and to orders placed with LFP Foodservice.

By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Nothing in these Terms affects any statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

1. About LFP Foodservice

LFP Foodservice supplies professional food ingredients and related products to bakeries, pâtisseries, caterers, restaurants, hospitality businesses, food manufacturers and other customers.

Our full legal business details and contact information are available on our website and will be kept up to date.

2. Products and information

We take reasonable care to ensure product descriptions, images, specifications, pack sizes and other information are accurate.

Manufacturers may occasionally change packaging, specifications, formulations or presentation without prior notice. Customers should always check current product labels, specifications and allergen information before use.

Images are for illustration and may not always represent the exact packaging supplied.

3. Allergens and product suitability

Customers are responsible for reviewing the current ingredient, allergen and technical information relevant to their intended use.

Where requested, LFP Foodservice may provide product information and practical guidance, but customers remain responsible for determining whether a product is appropriate for their particular production process, recipe, customer or regulatory requirements.

4. Prices

Prices shown on the website may be amended from time to time.

Trade customers may receive account-specific pricing, quantity discounts or other commercial terms that differ from prices displayed publicly.

Unless stated otherwise, applicable taxes, delivery charges or other fees will be shown before an order is completed.

5. Orders

Submitting an order does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it.

An order is accepted when LFP Foodservice confirms acceptance or dispatches the goods.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where a product is unavailable, pricing is clearly incorrect, payment cannot be authorised or delivery cannot reasonably be completed.

If payment has already been taken for an order we cannot fulfil, the appropriate refund will be made.

6. Availability

Products are subject to availability.

We may substitute packaging or update availability where the underlying product remains materially the same. We will not substitute a materially different product without appropriate agreement.

7. Trade accounts

Trade accounts are subject to approval.

Account-specific pricing, credit terms, purchasing permissions, authorised delivery locations and other commercial arrangements may apply separately to individual customers.

Opening a trade account does not automatically grant credit facilities.

8. Payment

Payment must be made using one of the methods offered at checkout or under separately agreed trade-account terms.

Where credit terms have been formally agreed, payment must be made in accordance with those terms.

9. Delivery

Delivery dates and times are estimates unless expressly agreed otherwise.

Customers must provide accurate delivery information and ensure that somebody authorised is available to receive goods where required.

Our Shipping Policy contains further information concerning delivery, failed delivery, shortages and damage in transit.

10. Inspection of goods

Customers should inspect goods promptly following delivery.

Damaged, missing, incorrect or visibly defective goods should be reported to LFP Foodservice as soon as reasonably possible, together with relevant order information and photographs where appropriate.

11. Returns and refunds

Returns, refunds and cancellations are governed by our Return and Refund Policy.

Certain food products, perishable goods, opened goods, unsealed products or goods that cannot safely be resold may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.

12. Intellectual property

Content on this website, including LFP Foodservice branding, website design, written material and original imagery, may not be reproduced or commercially used without permission, except where permitted by law.

Third-party trademarks, brand names, product imagery and other intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.

13. Website use

You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation or use it for unlawful purposes.

We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the website, our customers or our business.

14. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

Subject to applicable law, LFP Foodservice will not be responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable or for business losses arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Business customers are responsible for ensuring that products are suitable for their particular commercial processes and applications.

15. Events outside our reasonable control

We will not be responsible for delay or failure caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, which may include transport disruption, supplier interruption, extreme weather, industrial action or other events affecting supply or delivery.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will be published on this website.

Changes will not retrospectively alter an order already accepted unless required by law or agreed with the customer.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Nothing in this provision removes any mandatory legal rights or jurisdiction protections that apply to a consumer.

18. Contact

Questions concerning these Terms should be directed to LFP Foodservice using the contact details published on our website.
